One of the things that has made us so popular is the way in which we measure our herbs in an effort to keep costs minimal for the customer. Most spells and charms require a "part" of something, or even a "pinch". Buying an entire ounce or more of something just for a pinch seems like a waste. Especially for something as time-sensative as herbs. Smaller portions equal small prices. We've found that dividing our herbs into smaller bags allows us to offer a huge variety of herbs for only $1.50 each. So how much is in the bag? Well, that depends on the rarity and value of the herb. A common herb such as peppermint, or patchouly will measure approximately an ounce, and are packaged in a 4x3 bag. Seeds, bark and roots are heavier and packaged in a 3x3 bag. Resins, powders and hard to find items are in 2x2 bags. If you absolutely need to know the exact measurement of any herb, we will be happy to weigh it for you. However, rest assured, you will be getting your money's worth, and probably more. Our portions are extremely generous. WE ARE NOT WHOLESALERS. We will not sell herbs by the pound, and limit the purchase of our bags to 3 per order of each herb.
It's also important to note here that these herbs are sold for craft purposes only. By crafts, we mean spells, sachets, potpourri, incense, smouldering, etc. Some of these herbs are extremely toxic if ingested. For that reason, we do not advise anyone to ingest any of these loose herbs. If you are looking for herbs for holistic healing, we recommend pre-packaged encapsulated herbs, tictures, or teas that are designed for that purpose.
